Ashley Rane, PA-C

Ashley Maddox Rane is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a special interest in spine. After graduating high school, she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Samford University. She then attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed her degree in Surgical Physician Assistant Studies in 2003. She worked briefly with Southern Bone & Joint Specialists in Dothan before working with Southern Orthopedic Specialists in Birmingham for 5 years. She ultimately decided to return home in 2010 and has since been working with her father, Dr. J. Paul Maddox and her brother, Dr. Jeremiah Maddox. Ashley was also a member of the Flowers Hospital Hospitalist team for 2 years and in 2018 joined CorePath Laboratories and performs bone marrow biopsies for a local hematology and oncology practice.

Ashley has a passion for animals and is a Board Member of Wiregrass Horse Rescue & Sanctuary as well as Linda’s Friends for Life Dog Rescue. She was also a Board member and past President of the Wiregrass Museum of Art. In her time away from work, she enjoys spending time with her family, dogs and horses and enjoys running.
